When the COVID-19 crisis first hit Los Angeles, the Expanded Learning community stepped up to play a vital role in supporting families most in need. Beginning March 18th, 2020 LAUSD, Beyond The Bell and LA’s BEST began running Grab & Go Distribution Centers at Los Angeles public schools, serving over 500,000 meals five days a week.
