Speakers State Treasurer Fiona Ma and LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvalho shared words of wisdom that energized the room.
Honorees State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond and Keyla Santisteban, LA’s BEST alumna inspired us with their stories of triumph. The Honorable Wendy Greuel and Jorge Flores, representing June Sale eloquently shared the impact June had on the LA’s BEST and her tenacity for fighting for social justice throughout her life.
